Mount Maunganui has been ranked second in New Zealand's top ten visitor attractions for 2015 by Instagram, based on the number of images geo-tagged to specific locations.
Kiwis and international visitors shared the most pictures from Waiheke Island.
Andrew Fraser, director of marketing Tourism New Zealand said it was greatto see a range of different experiences and attractions making the top 10 list.
"Whether you're on a beach or on top of a mountain, it's hard to take a bad picture in New Zealand.
"We can see through the growth of the @PureNewZealand Instagram account and the popularity of the #NZMustDo campaign that both visitors and New Zealanders alike are turning to Instagram to share their New Zealand experiences."
