The man who allegedly robbed a Mount Maunganui shop of a $2 mince pie remains at large nearly a month later.
Police have asked for people's help to track down the shirtless man at the centre of the pie robbery which also became a bomb threat on December 13.
The man, who described himself as homeless, was aged in his 40s and was about 185cm tall wore black track pants, socks and black slippers, and had a shirt wrapped around his upper head, the shopkeeper said.
The victim said the man had demanded a pie and told him he needed to do so because he had a bomb in his bag.
The man became aggressive and threatening when he indicated he was not sure about doing so, the shopkeeper said.
