A man is in a critical condition after crashing his motorbike in Tauranga.
Emergency services are at the crash scene, near the intersection to Tauranga Crossing, on State Highway 36/Takitimu Drive.
Police were alerted to the crash at 7.10pm.
The man was riding a black, Japanese road bike when itcrashed at the roundabout with Lakes Boulevard. He was taken to Tauranga Hospital in a critical condition.
Police are trying to identify the man and want witnesses to contact them on (07) 577 4300.
