Missed out on becoming New Zealand's Next Top Model?
A Mount Maunganui-based fashion business is giving real women the chance to become the face of their advertising campaign - and size zero models need not apply.
Evolution Clothing, which has four North Island boutiques, has launched a search to find the "face
of Evolution".
The company's fashion director Miranda Cobb said she wanted to find a woman who loved Evolution clothes as much as she did.
And there are none of the usual restrictions - any size, shape and age can enter, as long as they fit Evolution clothes, which are available in size 8 to 14.
Mrs Cobb said she had no preconceived notions of what the "Evolution woman" should look like.
"We have had so many good entries, all with really diverse looks. It's really cool to see the different options coming in," she said.
"I don't really have any one particular look we want, [but] obviously we want the clothes to look good.
"They need to fit our brand and what we represent and what we sell.
"We will consider all ages - we have had women in their thirties apply. There's so many beautiful people out there."
And no modelling experience is required.
Evolution will choose the top two women, while the company's Facebook fans will ultimately decide the winner.
In addition to the modelling exposure, the winner will receive clothing vouchers. Entries close tomorrow. To enter, email your photo to stylist@evolutionclothing.co.nz
