Hilarious night in store

If you have never been turned into an exotic dancer, or a chicken - now is your chance. The combined Lions' Mid Winter Magic Night features highly acclaimed hypnotist Dave Upfold - otherwise known as The Hilarious Hypnotist.
"It is a great opportunity for the clubs to raise their profiles in the communities that they serve, and we hope that those same communities will support us whole-heartedly," says Waihi Lioness president Ruby Mills.
$30 tickets include a meal and an auction followed by the hypnotist.
Money raised from the evening will go towards the Cancer Society's Lions Lodge, Hamilton.
The Lodge will have free accommodation and meals for approximately 600 people from around the region per year in a "home away from home" atmosphere, while they receive treatment for cancer at Waikato Hospital.
The district's Lions Clubs target is $3 million with the Cancer Society raising the balance of the funds.
Mid Winter Magic night is on Saturday, August 28, at 6pm at the Waihi Beach Community Centre.
