Cruise ship heavyweights Celebrity Solstice and Voyager of the Seas have arrived in Tauranga.

Cruise ship heavyweights Celebrity Solstice and Voyager of the Seas have arrived in Tauranga.

Two of the largest cruise ships to enter Tauranga's Harbour this year have arrived for a showdown.
Celebrity Solstice arrived at 8.45am, followed by Voyager of the Seas at 9am.
Crews from the ships will take part in the
People are invited to watch the Royal Caribbean Cruises vs Celebrity Cruises New
Zealand Cruise Games at the Cruise Port, corner of Sailsbury Ave and The Mall. More than 2000 crew members will take part in games ranging from volleyball to shotput.
Free food, drinks and other giveaways from the ships will be on offer.
Both ships are expected to leave tonight destined for Wellington.
