Papamoa-based company LittleBabe Yoga, run by Bay couple Dave and Maxine Orange, was born from a love of quality yoga gear that looks and feels good.

After searching endlessly for top-quality, eco-friendly and beautifully designed yoga mats, the duo decided it was time for Kiwi yogis and yoginis to be able to personalise their yoga kit.

Red BecOMe & Blue BlossOM Mat The new microfibre ecotechnology is best for bikram or a hot and sweaty practice, yin yoga or meditation and restorative/pregnancy yoga. Its comfortable support allows for a peaceful experience and the towel-like top means the more you sweat, the more you grip and become one with your natural mat. ($79)

Yellow BloOM Mat: Asana Eco The vegan suede-like technology is ideal for the dynamic yogi/yogini. This eco beauty strives to be a mat for all occasions. After a bit of wearing in, it becomes a quality yoga companion that can help you reach new heights in inspiring a home practice and expressing your flow through vibrant design. Comfortable, natural, beautiful. ($110)

The mats are all natural and toxin-free, made from a 100 per cent natural rubber base and use only water-based inks. The products do not have any PVC, chlorine, silicone, latex, phthalates or toxic glue.
