Hairy Maclary project offered a $70k boost

The future of the Hairy Maclary project on Tauranga's waterfront is closer to fruition after the annoncement of a $70,000 donation.

The $70,000 follows an offer of $100,000 earlier this month from City Care.

Priority One announced the imminent donation of $70,000 this morning, bringing the shortfall for the project to $181,000.

The project has been three years in the making. The $70,000 was yet to be confirmed.
