Funeral for Oropi crash victim tomorrow

Police are still investigating the death of a Tauranga teenager following a police pursuit in Oropi on Friday night.

Levi Green, 18, will be farewelled by family and friends tomorrow at the Greens' farm in Oropi.

Mr Green died after his car plunged over a bank after a short police chase.

Police were called to Mountain Rd shortly after 11pm after reports of an 'out of control' party and someone being struck by a vehicle.

Police said this morning no charges had yet been laid in relation to the incident.
