If you're looking for something fun to do with the kids on Saturday, Bunnings Warehouse Mount Maunganui has the answer.

The annual Community Fun Day is on from 10am till 2pm, with free entertainment, interactive workshops, DIY challenges and fun for all ages.

Local community groups, including St John's Ambulance, Mount Maunganui police, Lion Foundation and Mount Toy Library, will also have stalls.

Bunnings Warehouse Mount Maunganui activities organiser Amanda Ellis says it's a chance for the whole family to be a part of the excitement.

"Community fun day is a great opportunity for locals to come together to have a fantastic time and take part in a range of free hands-on activities.
