A Bay of Plenty player won the $1 million top prize in Lotto's Triple Dip Christmas promotion, drawn on Saturday night.
One of six first division winning tickets, each worth $166,667, was sold at Waihi Beach Four Square.
Twosecond division-winning tickets worth $25,498 were also sold in the Bay - one at Pak 'N Save in Papamoa and one bought online in the Bay of Plenty.
