Flooding in Greerton shuts down transfer station

Heavy rain has resulted in flooding in parts of Greerton today.

Tauranga City Council has announced the Maleme Street Transfer Station was closed to the public due to flooding.

Commercial vehicles were still able to enter, a statement released this morning said.

Te Maunga Transfer Station was still open to all customers.
