Firefighters have been called out to a shed fire in Merivale this morning.
The fire happened in a 6x10m shed about 10.40am.
Neighbours told the Bay of Plenty Times they noticed smoke coming from the shed but the home's occupants were not home at the time.
Police were also at the scene as firefighters worked to contain the fire.
