The packhouse on fire.

Fire Emergency NZ can not confirm if the fire that gutted an Athenree packhouse is suspicious or not.

Emergency services were called out to the blaze on Ross Ware Drive about 11.05am on Saturday morning.

Eight appliances tackled the fire and a fire investigator went to the scene.
