Emergency services were called to Athenree Rd around 11.50am, a police spokeswoman said.

One person has been injured after an incident on a private property in the Western Bay of Plenty.

Emergency services were called to Athenree Rd around 11.50am, a police spokeswoman said.

Worksafe has been notified and inquiries were ongoing.

A Hato Hone St John spokeswoman said it was notified of the incident on Athenree Rd at 11.44am and responded with one ambulance.

The spokeswoman directed questions about the patient’s status to the police.
