The driver of a car which crashed into a power pole on Cameron Rd this morning has escaped injuries.

A police media communications spokeswoman said police were called to the scene on the corner of Cameron Rd and 23rd Ave at 6.45am.

The spokeswoman said the power pole had fallen across the road, but the driver managed to push the power pole onto the footpath to stop it from blocking traffic.

No one was injured in the crash, she said.
