Ohauiti's Ken Campbell hopes to celebrate if Team New Zealand win the America's Cup.

This time in 2013, Ohauiti's Ken Campbell was in The Cloud in Auckland, ready to watch Emirates Team New Zealand win the America's Cup.

He bought a bottle of bubbles and was ready to pop it the second the home team crossed the line, victorious.

It never happened.

Tomorrow , he has another shot.

Mr Campbell saved the bottle and hoped to finally be able to drink it in celebration if Team New Zealand managed to pull off the win.

He planned to watch the morning's matchpoint racing at the Tauranga Citizen's Club.

"I just hope to hell that we get a fast start."

He had a good feeling that Team New Zealand could get the job done - if not in the first race, then in the second.

"I just hope to hell that we get a fast start."

Mr Campbell hoped to feel tomorrow what he felt in 1995 in San Diego when he sat in a bar and watched Black Magic cross the line to win the cup.

"It was an incredible feeling."
