Bay of Plenty pace bowler and all-rounder Sean Davey replaces an injured Brent Arnel. Arnel has a neck strain that is causing discomfort when bowling.

Davey, 24, will make his Knights debut off the back of solid performances for Bay of Plenty over the past two seasons. Last year the former New Zealand under-19 player scored centuries against Nelson and Hawke's Bay in Hawke Cup defences and another against Hamilton.

This season the Otumoetai Cadets allrounder took four wickets in each innings for ND A against Auckland A. He was one of the leading performers with both bat and ball at the recent Brian Dunning Trophy T20 tournament in Taupo.

Knights vs Otago Volts:
Dean Brownlie (c), Bay of Plenty, Peter Bocock, Hamilton, Sean Davey, Bay of Plenty, Anton Devcich, Hamilton, Daniel Flynn, Bay of Plenty, Brett Hampton, Bay of Plenty, Chris Jordan, Import, Nick Kelly, Counties Manukau, Daryl Mitchell, Hamilton, Brett Randell, Northland, Tim Seifert, Waikato Valley, Josef Walker, Hamilton.
