Bay of Plenty age group selectors have announced the three Bay of Plenty Coastland teams which will play in the annual ND Primary, Junior Secondary and Senior Secondary tournaments this season.

The Coastland Primary side will be quickly into action, with the first two rounds of their ND Primary campaign scheduled for the next two Sundays ahead of the annual tournament in Hamilton on the December 8-10.

Bay of Plenty wicketkeeper Tim Clarke will again coach the side, who won last season's ND championship with an unbeaten five-game record. Former Bay of Plenty representative player Fraser Lellman will be the manager. A 'three-peat' of ND titles is on the agenda for the Coastland Senior Secondary team that will again be coached by long-time Bay of Plenty age group mentor Pete Swan.

The side has a strong line-up, with Brody Gilroy having played for the Bay Development senior men's team and several of the other team members having experienced Baywide premier cricket. The ND Senior Secondary title chase will be played out in Gisborne from December 15-19.

Bay of Plenty Development coach Charles Williams will also coach the Coastland Junior Secondary team, who will travel to Manurewa to play in the five day tournament from December 1-5. At last year's tournament, the Coastland side finished in fourth place after being beaten by hosts Counties Manukau in the playoff for third.
