Creative festival announced for Tauranga

A new creative festival has been announced for Tauranga this year.

The inaugural Tauranga Zinefest will be held at Tauranga Art Gallery in collaboration with The Incubator.

The festival will showcase speakers and demonstrations on Zines on Saturday, June 4 from 10am to 4pm.

Zines, pronounced Zeens, are small, self-published magazines of original work on any topic.

A Zinefest is for zinemakers to share, sell or swap their creations.
