A cow roaming on one of Bay of Plenty's busiest roads has sparked multiple calls to emergency services.
A police spokeswoman said the cow had been found wondering on the northern side of Route K, also known as Takitimu Drive, in Tauranga about 7am.
Police were not in attendance.
"We
had a couple of calls about it this morning," she said.
"I do not think [the cow] has been injured."
