A car has rolled onto its side in residential Tauranga.

No one was believed to be seriously injured in the crash, which happened on Chapel St near Vale St about 1.50pm.

A reporter at the scene said it appeared two cars were involved and police were talking to the cars' occupants.

Traffic was still flowing around the scene as contractors worked to right the car, she said.
