A bus has crashed at Pyes Pa near Tauranga.

A police spokeswoman said they were called to the crash on Taumata Rd about 8.20am.

“There are no reported injuries and there do not appear to have been any passengers on the bus at the time,” she said.

The crash is blocking a single-lane bridge.

A Fire and Emergency NZ spokesman said two crews went to the crash.

“No one was trapped and we assisted police.”

Hato Hone St John have been approached for comment.
