Baywide Pro 4 series returns this weekend

Bay of Plenty Pasifika will return to defend their title in this year's Baywide Pro 4 series kicking off at Mount Maunganui this weekend.

Joining Bay of Plenty Pasifika are Western Bay of Plenty, Central Bay of Plenty, and Te Waiariki.

The series will comprise of three weeks of round robin fixtures starting with round one at Blake Park, round two on August 11 at Matata, and the final week August 18 at Marist Park in Rotorua.

The series established last year was designed to increase player involvement in representative rugby and further assist the development of Bay of Plenty high-performance rugby players and provide players with the opportunity to be selected to be as part of the Bay of Plenty Steamers high-performance environment.

Central Bay of Plenty v Western Bay of Plenty at Blake Park, Mount Maunganui

Kick-off: 2.45pm
Bay of Plenty Pasifika v Te Waiariki at Blake Park, Mount Maunganui

Saturday August 11:
Kick-off: 1pm
Te Waiariki v Western Bay of Plenty at Matata Rugby Club, Matata

Kick-off: 2.45pm
Bay of Plenty Pasifika v Central Bay of Plenty at Matata Rugby Club, Matata

Saturday September 2:
Kick-off: 1pm
Western Bay of Plenty Sub Union v Bay of Plenty Pasifika at Marist St Michael's, Rotorua

Kick-off: 2.45pm
Central Bay of Plenty v Te Waiariki at Marist St Michael's, Rotorua
