Bay of Plenty Women's sevens coach Victoria Grant has announced her 2016 squad following the Bay of Plenty Baywide Club Sevens on the weekend.

Grant is confident her young squad will prepare well, ahead of their Northern Region Qualifying Tournament in Cambridge.

"The squad is a mixture of youth and experience. We have a camp and two tournaments coming up in November to help us prepare for the Northern Region Qualifying Tournament in early December. I'm looking forward to a great season with this group of players."
