The Bay of Plenty Women's Sevens team continues to shine following their success earlier this year at the Bayleys National Sevens in Rotorua.

Bay of Plenty Sevens players' Ora Williams (Rotoiti), Autumn Stephens (Rotoiti) and Kendra Reynolds (Rangiuru) will join their Bay of Plenty Sevens head coach Victoria Grant to attend Atsugi City, Japan following their selection in the Black Ferns Sevens Development squad.

The team will depart on Saturday March 11 and return Sunday March 19.

They will be involved in a four-team mini tournament on the 16 and 17 March featuring the Japan National Women's Sevens Squad with two sides and Hong Kong National Women's Team.
