A part of Tauranga's history will be shown on the silver screen on Sunday.
TVOne programme Waka Huia will be screening an half-hour documentary about the Battle of Gate Pa from 10.30am on Sunday, the last of a four-part series about the land wars.
The documentary has interviews with localTauranga people and footage from the 150th anniversary commemoration events on April 29.
It was directed by Piata Gardiner-Hoskins, originally from Tauranga.
