Fifty meat workers protest at Rangiruru

About 50 meat workers are protesting outside AFFCO Rangiruru meat works, after they were laid off on Friday.

A reporter at the scene said they have strung up a Meat Workers Union flag up where the Talley's flag flies.

The upset workers are wanting management to come out and talk to them.
