Matua and Otumoetai residents will have the opportunity to talk to Tauranga City Council elected members about what they want for their community in the future when the second neighbourhood Community Development Committee meeting is held in Matua next Tuesday.
The Committee was established last year with the purpose of encouraging discussion on opportunities and issues affecting individual communities. Every second meeting is held at different locations around the city in order to focus on matters specific to those communities.
The topics discussed at the Matua meeting will be; the Ten Year Plan and Matua stormwater updates, as well as presentations from the Matua Residents Association and the Otumoetai Railway Gardens Society.
The evening starts with the formal meeting at 6:30pm followed by tea, coffee and an opportunity to chat with your elected members.
The meeting will be held at Matua Hall, 110 Levers Road, Matua on Tuesday, July 15 from 6:30pm - 8:00pm
