Police surround a car pulled over on Cameron Rd.

One person has been arrested on Cameron Rd following a police pursuit this evening.

Four police cars, including a dog handling unit, were seen surrounding a sedan stopped on the side of Cameron Rd between Eighth and Ninth Avenues, opposite Pak'nSave, about 6.20pm.

A police media spokeswoman said it was the end of an alleged fleeing driver incident and one person was arrested.

She said the vehicle was seen on Devonport Rd and 18th Ave about 6.11pm.

The car was stopped after a brief pursuit and police arrested one person shortly after 6.14pm on Cameron Rd.
