The Armed Offenders Squad is at the scene of a routine police warrant in Pāpāmoa this evening.

A nearby resident said she could see about four-to-five police cars outside an address on Dickson Rd.

She said police could be seen dressed in full armed offender's gear and were holding guns.

"They are definitely armed."

A police spokeswoman confirmed the Armed Offenders Squad was at the scene conducting a warrant for an arrest.
