      There are 34 residents without power in Papamoa following a powerline fire on Pāpāmoa Beach Rd this morning.

      The Papamoa Fire Brigade responded to a call this morning about powerlines on fire between Alexander Pl and Grant Pl in Pāpāmoa.

      Powerco has stated online there are 34 properties without power due to unexpected cuts.

      Pāpāmoa resident Jordan Tito lives on Gravatt Rd, about 4km away from the site, and said his power was still on.
