The stage at Tauranga's Baycourt is just not big enough for a world class act like this, and it is astonishing that Kenny Wizz's show on Wednesday night wasn't completely sold out. Those of you who thought about going then decided not to have absolutely missed out.

The first thing
that stood out about the production HIStory II is the striking resemblance. Wizz looks, sounds, and moves just like Michael Jackson, and when people say he is known to be one of the best Michael Jackson impersonators in the world, they are not exaggerating.

It didn't take long for practically everyone there to get up, clap their hands, dance, and sing along to all the big Jackson hits, from the old Jackson Five hits like Ben and I Want You Back, to Billie Jean, the Earth Song, Beat it and Man in the Mirror.

Together with his band of talented musicians and back-up singers, the tightly choreographed History dancers, a full range of impressive costumes, Kenny Wizz gave the crowd what they wanted - a Michael Jackson concert, or at least the closest you will ever get to seeing the King of Pop live.

The energy was just thrilling, and a show of this calibre seemed a little out of place here in Tauranga. This man and his entourage could easily entertain a full Vector Arena. It was absolutely brilliant, and a true tribute to the Michael Jackson legacy.
