The annual Tauranga Girls' College exhibition at Creative Tauranga is back. Titled Artsfest, this show will include a range of mediums from a variety of students within the Tauranga Girls' College Art Department.
Artsfest is a school-wide initiative that most departments are involved with and the exhibition at Creative Taurangagives visual art students the opportunity to exhibit and sell their artwork.
Head girl Ana Morris has included artwork in the exhibition.
"Creativity takes courage," she says. "Art is original and personal.
"The ability to take art at school gives me the chance to learn creatively, to develop ideas and explore the beauty of shapes, colours and subject matter."
