A booming wave is about to hit the Bay of Plenty - and it's got nothing to do with the tides.

The Bay is hosting some fantastic bands over the summer and one band in particular will have fans travelling from all over to hear their timeless sound.

UB40 still pulls crowds from all over the world and they are in Rotorua for the Red Red Wine Vineyard Tour, sharing the stage with some of New Zealand's favourite musicians.

UB40 still has original members Ali Campbell, Astro and Mickey Virtue in the line-up.
The band enjoyed huge success over a period of 30 years from 1979 to 2008 and will be hitting the stage with its raft of hits including Red Red Wine, Cherry Oh Baby, Kingston Town, (I Can't Help) Falling In Love With You, I Got You Babe, One in Ten and Rat in Mi Kitchen.

Reunited again, they continue to take their smooth, yet rootsy blend around the world, and their live performances never fail to uplift the audience.

Joining them on the night are iconic Kiwi artists Herbs, Ardijah and Jason Kerrison, along with Three Houses Down, Manalion and X Factor winner Beau Monga.

Jason Kerrison and Ali Campbell were judges together on New Zealand's Got Talent and are hugely excited to be performing alongside each other.

Kerrison is Opshop's frontman and he has spent many years at the top of the NZ music scene, enjoying not only commercial success but also picking up numerous NZ Music Awards.

Any self-respecting Kiwi has Ardijah and Herbs songs lingering in the memory banks and they remain firm favourites for anyone with a taste for R&B. The Red Red Wine Vineyard show will be a stunner.
