"Ever since I was a teenager, I have always loved and bought classic cars. While some girls pore over celebrity magazines, I spent hours dreaming over my brother's hot-rod magazines.

"My goal for over 30 years was to eventually own my favourite classic car, a 1959 Fleetwood Cadillac. They have the biggest fins and contain so much chrome. The design inspiration for the 1959 Fleetwood Cadillac comes from the Lockheed P-38 fighter plane. "To me, the Cadillac is a dream come true and is more than just a car. It's a real head-turner and one of the rarer models of the 1959 Cadillacs.

"I had the 1959 Fleetwood Cadillac imported from Los Angeles. She arrived only a week after the Rena accident. I had to keep her hidden from my daughter as it has also been her dream to one day own her own Cadillac.

My daughter was married on November 11th, 2011, and we surprised her by letting her have the Fleetwood Cadillac as her wedding vehicle. It was one huge car to hide.

I'm to get married myself on the 25th February, 2012 and will be driving myself to my own wedding in it."
