The sun might be setting on reality television but thank goodness laughter never gets old.

New Zealand comedy is stronger than ever and that's largely thanks to TV3's 7 Days.

The line-up of New Zealand's best comedians take the stage at Baycourt this Saturday night and if you are in need of an end of year laugh, this show is not to be missed.

These comedians should expect nothing from Santa, as they are very naughty and often not at all nice - especially when taking aim at politicians.

Tauranga will get to see them "unedited and unscripted, in the flesh but fully clothed, thank god," says executive producer Jon Bridges.

There was a time when I couldn't name one Kiwi comedian, but thanks to 7Days, our comedians enjoy profiles as high as anyone in the entertainment industry.

Jeremy Corbett, Paul Ego, Dai Henwood, Urzila Carlson, Ben Hurley, Jeremy Elwood and Josh Thomson will bring fans a hilarious dose of comedy gags that follow all that's popular, embarrassing and shocking in the news.

To kick off the night, each comedian will grace the stage, unleashing seven minutes of comedy gold, before unleashing a no holds barred game of 7 Days, including Yes Minister and My Audience Member Could Draw That.

Executive producer Jon Bridges said, "I was very excited to hear that the 7 Days cast was to be travelling around the country for three weeks, and would be out of town the whole time bringing their non-stop, ceaseless, never-ending, unrelenting jokes to the nation, until I found out that I have to go with them."
