Fall Out Boy could easily be called Full On Boy

Fall Out Boy could easily be called Full On Boy

Like a poppier, punkier, quirkier version of Muse, Fall Out Boy specialise in BIG, dynamic music that will knock you off your feet.

With thumping rhythms, soaring vocals and guitars, it's a loud, epic sound that will demand repeat listens until your ears scream for a rest.

Because they could easily be called Full On Boy -- such is the relentless drive throughout this, their sixth studio album.

It kicks off with the catchy, suitably titled Irresistible, built on a bed of brass, fanfares adding to the spectacle. Then the album really ramps up proceedings with the title track, a fun, adrenalin-fuelled romp driven by uber-groovy beats, and lead single Centuries, a barnstorming effort that just happens to borrow from Suzanne Vega's Tom's Diner. There are too many great tracks to mention, but the breathlessly brilliant Immortals from the movie Big Hero 6 is especially worth checking out.

Listen to Irresistible here.
