Get your smock on ... pottery is making a comeback.

"There seems to be a resurgence and interest in pottery," says Bethlehem Pottery Club secretary Jane Clark. "I think people are just turning away from mass production."

The little club on Bethlehem Rd is brimming with about 60 members, some of whom are master potters.

The creative group is showcasing their varied work in a two-day exhibition called A Celebration of Ceramics. The exhibition will be held at Bob Owens Retirement Village, 112 Carmichael Rd.

There's much to choose from at the exhibition and sale, Jane says, including domestic ware, sculpture and hand-built figurines. The club's members hope to present a few hundred pieces for sale and exhibition.
