FROM encounters with snakes, bears, toddlers and teenagers to having clients with unimaginable wealth and fame.

Guests at this year's Indulge Speaker Collective will share insights from vastly different fields and organisers are sure they will leave attendees inspired and motivated.

The aim of the Indulge speaker collective is to offer a variety of topics of interest to both men and women and this year's guests certainly achieve the goal.

Parenting expert Jenny Hale is in the line-up and she will be sharing practical solutions that help parents negotiate the role they play in taking children through their development and on to independence.

Her solutions include the importance for parents to be the leader of the family rather than the tyrant or the buddy; for parents to be united, to simplify life and to create an atmosphere of fun and harmony in the home.

Former Tauranga Chamber of Commerce chief executive Max Mason spent a lot of time away from his New Zealand home last year.

He completed the 3500km Appalachian Trail, battling freezing temperatures, encounters with wild bears, snakes and the vast, unforgiving wilderness during his six-month walk. Max will be sharing his views on life, leadership and motivation.

The third speaker is businesswoman, designer, and high priestess to those who worship at the altar of the shoe, Kathryn Wilson.

With over 100 boutique stores throughout the country and Beyonce on her client list, Wilson will share the story of her success and how she wanted to make her mark on the world from the age of 16.

"Our speakers are selected to offer insight and inspiration to attendees so they can walk away with practical advice and motivations they can implement in their own lives somehow," says NZME Event Manager, Dayna Comeskey.

She says the events are for people of all ages and the cost-effective price means it can be a great night out for the general public.

Last year, we had a mother bring her young teenage daughters along. They loved it she thanked us for providing a really inspiring all-ages event.

She said last year's inaugural event drew an audience of more than 400 and that the feedback from attendees was that it was great value for money.

"Many people told us that despite coming specifically to hear one particular speaker, they were pleasantly surprised by what they were able to take away from the other speakers involved."
