Check out Tauranga's latest addition to the health and fitness scene this Saturday. If you fancy, you can sample some of the classes in the fitness centre. You can also tour this mega health club luxury centre which has pool, spa, sauna as well as state-of-the-art training and gym facilities. There is a health-food cafe where you will be able to sample goodies such as high-protein smoothies and raw-food desserts, mini sliders, and salmon rolls. Silver Fern Laura Langman will be there from 1pm until 2.30pm and has some signed gear to give away.

As well as the health club, there is a high-performance centre which All Blacks strength and conditioning coach Nic Gill will operate. He will use the Ludus Magnus school of training which focuses on strength and conditioning, described as training in its most raw form. Manager Stacey Pearce says it will allow people to "unleash their inner gladiator" and includes classes such as the "Tiger Beer", which she says is "nothing to do with alcohol but way more fun".

Puzzled? There will be demonstrations of Ludus Magnus on Saturday. If you fancy trying your hand at fitness classes including the likes of pump and zumba, these will be running all day, free, so take your gear if you want to try.

Below is the FREE group fitness timetable that will run on opening day.

10.30 - 11.00 Body Step - Studio
11.00 - 11.30 Body Pump - Studio
11.30 - 12.00 CXWORX - Studio
12.00 - 12.50 LUDUS MAGNUS
1.00 - 1.30 Body Combat
1.35 - 2.05 RPM
2.15 - 2.45 Body Balance
3.00 - 3.50 LUDUS MAGNUS - HPC
