Enties open for Wearable Creationz

Entries are now open for the 10 Year Anniversary Wearable Creationz event in Rotorua.

Wearable Creationz began when three local people got together to put on a wearable arts-style fashion show called "Buskaid" to raise money for a group of South African musicians and orphans who had been stranded in New Zealand.

Last year entries were submitted from Rotorua, Tokoroa, Papamoa, Hamilton, Taupo and Whakatane. Entries close on Monday June 18, with design board and music due on July 23.

Entrants need to be available in full costume for pre-judging in early August, rehearsals August 14 and 15 and for the full Wearable Creationz shows on August 16, 17 and 18. For further information about the categories, entries and Wearable Creationz, go to www.wearablecreationz.co.nz
