Love Happens

It is probably fair to say Jennifer Aniston has not set the world on fire since she left her Friends behind and targeted success on the silver screen.
Critics may consider she doesn't quite have it to hit the top but, quite possibly, the roles she's taken on
haven't been there either.
In Love Happens, Aniston plays a rather straight-laced character - Eloise Chandler - whose world intersects with a best-selling, self-help guru.
A self-employed florist, life is not a bed of roses for Eloise. She can't seem to attract good men, only the ratbags.
Life simply chugs along for her.
The guru - Burke Ryan (Aaron Eckhart) - seems to have all the answers for his followers when it comes to dealing with grief over the loss of a loved one.
He helps his followers confront their pain and move on.
But behind the scenes, Burke is as broken as any of his followers.
Having lost his beloved wife in a car crash three years earlier, Burke is a mixed mess of emotions with secrets and hang-ups aplenty.
He must deal with two lives - his public persona and his private hell.
When he crosses paths with Eloise, she is the proverbial breath of fresh air in his life.
She is not swept away by his fame and prominence and she is able to see the true man behind the facade.
The closer Burke gets to Eloise, the more he is forced to confront the truth of his past.
In a nutshell, Eloise is good for him.
But he needs to realise this before it is too late.
