Designers' entries invited

Organisers are calling for "open design" entries for the 2011 Mills Reef Tarnished Frocks and Divas, which is to be held from September 14-17 at a yet-to-be -revealed location.
Creative director Judith Bell says they are now accepting entries for the open design section of the show - where budding designers and seamstresses can show off their works.
The theme for this year's open design section is "retro meets avant garde".
The closing date for entries has been extended to May 31.
A panel of New Zealand's leading fashion designers will judge the competition.
