An extravaganza of dance is being held at Baycourt when more than 500 dance students take to the stage, performing hip-hop, acro, contemporary, jazz and ballet.
The dancers are students of Rise Dance Company who try to instill a life-long love of dance where it is first and foremost about
fun, says director Carla Beazley.
"The show is going to be a colourful celebration of movement where food is used as a metaphor for the things dancers need to have, such as determination, courage and vision," she says.
The dancers range in age from 5 to 40.
