FOR the past two decades, Black Grace has taken the world by storm with its powerful and highly acclaimed productions.
With a celebration performance of 20 years of fancy footwork, Black Grace has chosen Tauranga as one of the 20 locations it will perform.
The tour, called 20 for 20,
performs in 20 venues for just $20 tickets at the door (no bookings required).
Black Grace is unplugged in the tour, returning to its roots to honour New Zealand, its people, its past and its future.
Audiences will see some of Black Grace's most popular short works choreographed by founder Neil Ieremia, including Minoi, Method and Human Language. The programme will also feature new works by original company members Sean MacDonald and Siaosi Mulipola, presented in a relaxed and informal setting, but with the company's trademark energy and breath-taking physicality ever-present.
