A musical marriage made in country heaven is how Camille & Stuie are described.
The Australian alternative country duo will perform in Katikati tomorrow night hosted by the Katikati Folk Club.
Tasmanian Stuie French is a master of the country/jazz guitar-style. He has toured with major country artists such as
Merle Haggard. When Camille Te Nahu arrived in Australia in 1999 she became a backing singer for Kasey Chambers and Beccy Cole. Over the years, Camille and Stuie's paths would often cross as they both toured with fellow Australian country stars.
Camille and Stuie have both released albums, but it wasn't until 2002 when the two became partners in life and music.
Camille and Stuie won their first Golden Guitar award together for best alternative country album of the year at the 2013 Tamworth Golden Guitar Awards. Big Days & Little Years is their fourth album together.
