She said two conductors from Auckland would be attending the camp working with the orchestra, wind band and choir.
"We want to give people a unique learning and working opportunity in a relaxed atmosphere under the guidance of experienced conductors.
"There will be 89 of us all together."
She encouraged members of the public to attend the gold coin donation concert at Keswick Camp's auditorium on Sunday.
Rotorua's Shamus Baker, 13, said he would be attending the camp as a violinist.
"I've been playing for two or three years but this is the first time I've attended one of the camps. My music teacher suggested it and it sounds fun, I'm looking forward to playing in the orchestra."
