Mrs Taylor, who is also a director of online board game retailer SeriouslyBoard.co.nz, says Board Games By The Bay offers people the opportunity to experience modern board games.
"We think board games are a great way to spend family time or to pick up a new hobby. We're inviting anyone of any age and any ability to come down and see what it's all about, and they might even walk away with a board game as a prize, too."
Board Games By The Bay will be at the Tauranga Bridge Club, 252 Ngatai Road, Otumoetai, Tauranga, March 15-16. The venue will be open 10am-10pm Saturday and 10am-6pm Sunday. There is a $10 door charge per person per day. Children under 12 years of age can get in for free but must be accompanied by an adult. More details can be found at http://boardgamesbythebay.org.nz/
