Album Review: Solid Gold Sixtieshine

It's hard to go past any album with Elvis' Suspicious Minds included, but that's only one of many singalong favourites here. And while you may well be sick of Do Wah Diddy Diddy and Build Me Up Buttercup, classics such as Mrs Robinson, California Dreamin' and A Whiter Shade of Pale will always stand up well.
Of course, the 60s could produce several hundred compilations like this with plenty of songs to spare, so you're never going to get a comprehensive selection, and while this is no Big Chill or Tour of Duty soundtrack, it's by no means a disappointing choice of tracks.
Shane's Saint Paul gives the album a nice Kiwi touch too.
